Leading Midlands training and meeting venue Ashorne Hill has announced the opening of a brand new meeting space on their 35 acre site to kick start their 2022 plans of venue improvements.

Based in Leamington Spa, the award-winning Ashorne Hill will be re-developing and re-purposing facilities across the venue, starting with the opening of the newly created Carson Centre. Named after long-standing Managing Director John Carson who retired last year, the Carson Centre is the first in a number of planned refurbishments and will create a new self-contained, flexible meeting space, adding to the 40 meeting rooms already on offer.

Along with a number of buildings and spaces across the site, the Carson Centre building was previously under-utilised, but it is now being transformed into a flexible, self-contained meeting space suitable for up 20 delegates. Full of natural light and equipped with all the latest technology– including audio visual equipment, modern furnishings, and free Wi-Fi, it provides a motivating environment for delegates.

Jon West, Managing Director at Ashorne Hill, commented, “We’ve managed to get through a difficult period and we are now determined to come out of the pandemic stronger than ever before. Although there are still some restrictions, we are seeing strong demand, particularly for people to get back together face to face, and we need to maximise the use of space at our venue to ensure we can accommodate our customers’ requirements. The Carson Centre, a tribute to my predecessor who did so much to modernise and transform Ashorne, is the first example of that”.

He continued, “As well as re-developing our facilities, we also have plans to augment the outdoor space here at Ashorne. We are so blessed to have such stunning and tranquil grounds that enable delegates to take time out whilst they are here to reflect and rejuvenate away from the workplace and focus on their wellbeing.”

“The Carson Centre is located next to the existing Shedden Centre. The Shedden Centre can be used as a dedicated assessment centre, but the opportunity of using both facilities in conjunction opens up more flexibility to meet our customers’ needs.”

The Carson Centre will officially be opened in the first quarter of 2022, but it will be operational by the end of this month.
