Next up on our getting to know you blog is our new Learning & Development Sales Executive Lisa Rubio.

Your name

Lisa Rubio.

Your job title

Learning & Development Sales Executive.

What attracted you to the new role at Ashorne Hill?

I was attracted to Ashorne Hill because of the stella reputation it has gained over the years. That’s not only in their creation and delivery of Learning and Development programmes but also with the service delivery from events held in the amazing venue and grounds.

What is your background in learning and development? And where have you come from?

My background is publishing and training, where I’ve worked for many years. A keen eye for detail is an absolute must.

I have also worked in Sales & Management Training and Health & Safety Training.

What are your first priorities at Ashorne Hill and tell us a bit about the products you’ll be promoting?

My first priority is to re-engage with clients that we haven’t spoken to in a while and to let them know of the exciting new programmes that we now have to offer.

We have worked really hard on our Graduate Development, First Time Manager and Manager of Managers programmes over the last 18 months and have developed some amazing programmes and modules that we are really excited about. These programmes have also had some brilliant feedback from companies that have adopted them.

What makes the Ashorne Hill Graduate and Management modules so different to other programmes?

I think it is the depth of content that we have for both and the level of interaction we can provide. We can tailor each programme in terms of topics, timelines and formats for delivery, which makes them both high impact but very user friendly at the same time.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

In my spare time I love to read, take long walks with the dog and spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy travelling and experiencing different countries and cultures.

I also really enjoy a good thriller, murder mystery, whodunnit, my husband calls me Lisa Marple.

Ashorne Hill exudes positivity and creativity, give us your most positive phrase or saying.

To be kind to others and myself, to treat people the way that I would like to be treated, to make a difference.
