For over 50 years, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), sponsored by UKRI, have been helping businesses make a positive impact and drive innovation. Over the last decade, Ashorne Hill has delivered the KTP Management Training Programme to talented KTP Associates who have benefited from our immersive learning experiences and praised our outstanding facilitation.

The Background

Collaborative & Innovative.

With their three-way collaboration between businesses, knowledge bases, and gifted graduates (Associates), KTPs have given thousands of companies and individuals life-changing opportunities. Each KTP is supported by one of Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfers Advisers (KTAs) and managed by a KTP Associate who is either a talented graduate or postgraduate. Currently, over 800 graduates are involved in KTPs facilitated by several businesses and over 100 knowledge bases.

The Challenge

Equip Learners with Critical Business Skills.

KTP’s challenge is to provide their talented Associates with the critical skills, knowledge, and real-life experiences to make a positive impact and drive their projects forward in diverse business environments. However, it is important that these KTP Associates have the opportunity to develop their human and business skills in management, communication and people thinking to connect with other stakeholders and understand themselves.

The Solution

Bespoke Blended Learning Programme.

Ashorne Hill provides KTP Associates with a blended management learning programme designed and delivered by our in-house learning facilitators. By delivering our programme through digitally interactive and face-to-face learning experiences, learners are able to digest information in bite-sized chunks at their own pace and have the opportunity to network with other KTP Associates to build their human skills further. Our KTP programme is split into two modules which cover topics such as people, stakeholders, and project management as well as developing communication skills and people thinking.
