Learning and Development Assoiciate at Ashorne Hill

Liz is a trainer and coach with over 8 years’ experience in facilitating learning that makes a difference. She thrives on delivering an experience that engages the participants and enables them to transfer the learning into realistic actions. Her main areas of expertise are the many skills that support great leadership and through her sessions, she aims to help leaders hone these skills to get the best from themselves and their team.

Prior to becoming a trainer, Liz spent 15 years working in leadership positions in Supply Chain and Procurement functions, within the Steel industry.

If I ever had the opportunity to send another team leader or first line management position on this course, I would grab it with both hands.

Liz has a long connection with Ashorne Hill, coming first as a delegate on leadership programmes then later working with them as a L&D client. It was attending Ashorne Hill in her early career, that sparked Liz’s interest in L&D, and she has always felt a strong connection. When the opportunity to work at Ashorne Hill came up, there was only one obvious answer.

Liz is in the final stages of her ILM7 Executive Coaching and Mentoring Diploma and loves nothing better than to have coaching conversations with clients, where she can truly support their growth and volunteers for two local charities using her financial skills as a treasurer. She uses her leadership skills as Vice Chair of the PTA, as well as running a Church youth group.
