Next up on our getting to know you blog is our Estates Manager, Ian Cross. He may not be one of the front line faces of Ashorne Hill but he is certainly a key member of the team and has kept us in tip-top shape over the last 12 months.

Your name

Ian Cross.

Your job title

Estates Manager.

How long have you worked at Ashorne Hill?

Nearly 27 years!

What has been your favourite work moment to date?

There’s been so many, it’s too difficult to pick just one.

Who is your work wife? The one person you can’t wait to have a face-to-face banter with when we can?

Either Tiffany or Kulvinder.

What is your proudest lockdown moment?

Not losing my mind when I was the only person here for months on end!

What are you most looking forward to when Ashorne Hill re-opens?

Meeting up with staff and seeing customers back here.

What will your colleagues most be looking forward to seeing or hearing from you when they all return?

‘Move your car’

Give us the best piece of advice you can for companies thinking about organising that first post-lockdown face-to-face meeting.

I would reassure customers that we take our and their safety as a priority. I believe that companies really need their staff to get together and re-bond.

At Ashorne Hill we all exude positivity.  Give us your most positive phrase or saying.

Tomorrow will be a better day (Captain Sir Tom Moore).
