We’re pleased to share that we have once again achieved Greengage’s ECOsmart Platinum status, reaffirming our commitment to meaningful, measurable sustainability.

Following a recent review, our team demonstrated continued progress across a range of environmental priorities. While we’re proud to maintain Platinum status, this milestone is part of a broader journey; one that reflects both our responsibility and our resolve to do better, every day.

“We were thrilled to have demonstrated continued efforts to reduce our environmental impact,” said Renata Homer, Head of Operations and Customer Experience. “Our journey continues with specific emphasis on reducing CO2 emissions, building sustainable infrastructure, and driving towards a circular economy.”

The review also offered valuable insight into where we can make further progress. Under the leadership of Mark Soule, Estates, Facilities and Sustainability Manager, our Environmental Action Group is already working hard at implementing the next phase of improvements. This includes investment in practical upgrades, such as replacing legacy windows in one of our original accommodation blocks to improve thermal efficiency, small changes that add up to significant long-term impact.

But we also know this isn’t something we can do alone.

As a venue that welcomes guests, learners, and leaders from across the country, we believe our responsibility goes beyond operations. That’s why we’ll be inviting our community to play an active role in the year ahead, through a series of on-site campaigns and guest engagement initiatives aimed at encouraging conscious choices and collective action.

Because sustainability isn’t a static achievement, it’s an ongoing collaboration and we’re proud to be on this journey with you.
